  • I just wanted to thank you for the great site you have.  I decided a little over a month ago that I wanted to get my ham license after all these years.  I stumbled on your site and started studying and practicing the tests pretty much daily (which also inspired me to buy a couple books to read as well.)  To make a long story short, a couple weeks ago I went to take my Technician, General, and Extra exams all in one shot (yes I am a glutton for punishment) and passed with all three with flying colors!  It was great fun showing my certificate to my son who is an electrical engineer. :)   You are truly providing a great service to fellow Hams.  Thanks again and keep up the excellent work!  -  AB9YO

  • Thanks for putting up this website.  I studied the Tech questions on and off for about a month and passed the first time I took the test.  Now, I'm working on the General test.  – KF5KDB

  • Thank you – so much information and extremely helpful.  Wish I had this site when studying for the tech-passed 100%.  Now I'll start on the General.  I'm a kinesthetic/visual learner-wish there was a way to have "hands-on" instruction-it would be so much more meaningful since I'm technically challenged.  However, with all this help, I'll make it.  Trying to instill interest in grandsons in a worthwhile hobby, one which may save a life someday and one which may be the only way to communicate over distances.  If grandma can do it……

  • Thank you so much for this site.  I began studying for the Technician license in January, took the test in March, took the General test in May and the Extra test today and passed all three with flying colors.  I can't imagine how long it would have taken without your help.  Thanks again!

  • Took the test two weeks ago. Took both the Tech and General passed both. Got my call sign today. KF5MEF. Thanks for the use of your outstanding site. Will continue on with work on the extra.

  • I am blind, and I was using the handiham website, but it wasn't working for me. I found this site after stumbling across it on the Arrl site.
99.9% accessible thank you so much. the part that is not accessible is the downloadable flash cards. thanks soon I am hoping to have my tech. My boyfriend who is a EMTI/fire fighter is a ham, and I think as a future dispatcher I need to have all the radio experience I need.
    Did I say thank you?
    THANK  YOU!!!!

  • Hey there,
I would like to personally thank you for being so generous with your time and effort to make such a fantastic site for amateur radio enthusiasts. My buddy got hooked on ham, and well, one thing led to another and here I am. I haven't taken my test yet but I've been using your site to prepare and I feel a lot more confident than I did before seeing all the tools you've made available for us. You're doing a great job here and it is much appreciated! Keep on keeping on.
