Amateur Extra License (2012-2016)

The Amateur Extra license exam is a 50 question test drawn from a pool of 702 questions. The question pool is divided into 10 subelements (E0–E9).  Each subelement is subdivided into groups (topics).  There are 50 topics represented in the question pool.  One question will be randomly selected from each topic to make up the exam. You must  correctly answer at least 37 questions on the exam to obtain your license.

Do NOT attempt to memorize answers to questions based on the way they appear in the NCVEC question pool.  The order of questions and answer choices may be shuffled on the actual exam.  There is no time limit on the exam.
